Vision

Jesus’ last words to His followers were, “Go and make disciples of all nations…” Jesus never told His followers to build a church, but that He will build His Church. So, what’s our role? To be disciples who make disciples. That is, to be fully committed followers of Jesus whose aim is to see more people follow Him; to make Jesus’ last words, our first concern.

As an Apostolic Church we want to live up to our name. The word ‘apostolic’ originates from a Greek word meaning, ‘to be sent’. We want to be a centre, here in Inverness, where lives are transformed by the Gospel, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, equipped for all that God has for them, and sent; sent to tell others about Jesus in Inverness, throughout the Highlands, and even to other nations of the world.

This is summarised in our purpose statement:
“We exist to glorify God, reach the lost, and develop the found”

'This means we believe that God wants ICF to be a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered church that wins souls through relevantly proclaiming the Gospel in lifestyle and word wherever we go, makes fully committed disciples, and equips believers for works of service. Therefore, we expect to see transformation, growth and miracles!'
