We are a growing, vibrant and contemporary church set in the beautiful city of Inverness.

At ICF we believe that people matter to God.  God has an amazing plan for your life and it is a plan that starts with you coming into relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.  Knowing and living for God is life as it is meant to be lived; life as God intended.

At ICF we want people to discover this new life for themselves and live in the power of God working in their lives.

For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son whom He loves.

Eunice and I would like to wish you all a very happy new year, filled with the peace of God and His very near presence. May you know spiritual blessings that will cause us to bring much glory to God, and exalt His Name together as a fellowship, here in Inverness.

2012 is the one hundreth anniversary of the tragic sinking of the Titanic on the 15th April 1912. The huge slip was travelling from Southampton to New York when it hit an iceberg and sunk within a few hours with the loss of over 1500 lives. Someone is supposed to have said (although not proved) that God Himself could not sink the ship. When that awful event actually happened it may have been a design failure or a human error, whatever the cause, it was certainly something, or someone that was a lot lower down the power chain than God Himself.

It makes me think that humanity is really divided into two groups. Those that are of the opinion that God Himself can or those that feel God Himself can't. This was the difference between the Israelite army and David concerning the problem of Goliath.  The Israelite army felt that God Himself could not do anything.  David on the other hand not only felt, but knew, that God could deal with the giant and went forward in that assurance. Many biblical stories and examples from modern history reveal to us that those who think that God Himself can and those that or of the opinion that God Himself cant.

May we in 2012, whatever the giants we will have to face this year, belong to the group that says God Himself can and know the Jeremiah experience, when he spoke the words Ah Lord God, You have made the heavens and the earth.  Nothing is too difficult for You.
